How To Use Strattera
Strattera is the only drug that can control ADHD without any adverse reactions and addiction for a long treatment. The drug is based on the drug Atomoxetine that is different from all the psychostimulants that are used for treatments of the recommended diseases.
Strattera does not have any adverse side effects and has a very mild effect. However, patients can develop some minor side effects that can be easily handled without any medication.
Strattera is available to be consumed for oral use in the form of a pill. The dosage of Strattera is decided according to the age and body mass for the patient’s age. The recommended daily dose of Strattera is once per day.
- Children between the age of 6-16 and patients with a weight of under 70 kgs are advised to take 0.5-1 mg Strattera according to 1kg body weight.
- Patients over the age of 16 with a bodyweight of over 70 kg are recommended to take 40 mg Strattera per day in the beginning by increasing it slowly up to 80 mg- 120 mg. But not more than this dosage is recommended.
- It is recommended to continue the treatment till you begin achieving the optimal results for the treatment of ADHD. The treatment generally takes about a year.
